Dead Roman Posted September 17, 2004 Share Posted September 17, 2004 Im soon to be the owner of my own project z, and since im gonna be drifting it pretty heavily ive pretty much nixed the manual steering. Im pretty sure i could do without power steering but it sure would make life alot easier to have it. I did a few searches and didnt come up with anything under 1000 results so im gonna go ahead an post. Have any of you guys done any kind of power/power assist stearing mods to your z's? or do you know of any information on a way to do it? I would appreciate any direction you could give me. blueovalz Posted September 17, 2004 Share Posted September 17, 2004 Try narrowing the seach key words to focus on a Ford (or Mustang) rack or even RX7 and Miata racks. tannji Posted September 17, 2004 Share Posted September 17, 2004 BTW, owners of the second gen FC RX7's frequently disable the power steering, partially to reduce weight and increase available power, but a lot of them report liking the feel better that way as well.
