DaleMX
Well I got the engine out today. The LS1 is almost ready to put in. http://www.circuitflex.com/EnginePull.jpg http://www.circuitflex.com/EngineGone.jpg In total it was about 16 hours work spread out over 4 days. The transmission (5 speed) appears have been installed in 2000 which means it only has about 1 year of driving on it. I assume that the clutch is in the same condition. The engine ran, but recently developed a strange squeeking. I think it has a bearing problem. I'd love to get rid of the engine and transmission. If there is anybody in the Atlanta area that wants this setup then please come and get it. All you gotta do is show up and we will load it up. We meaning you and myself. LS1 Z
RIGHT ON DALE!!! Looks like mine when I first pulled her out. I pretty much have picks of my hole swap. If you would like a set on a c.d. P.M. me your address and I'll get a set to you. I made up a set for John at John's cars and gonna get a set to 1qwik240. Let me know. Funny. I was talking to John last week and he said he didn't know my Z was on the road. Infact from the kits he has sold. My car is the only one he is aware of that is up and running! Keep us posted!!! BrandonsZ
I'm going to keep mine extreamly stock inside and out and just pop that baby in, noone will notice the urgraded diff, better springs, and welleded up subframe. Oh and of course regular old tires, maybe just slighty wider in the back, and slightly lowered. 8) Hey that's a nice ricer honda you got there, wanna race for pinkslips? Me? Oh I got a little extra power under the hood, but let's just keep that under our hats. Then... and then no doubt I'll have to chase him down for the pink slip. But a pack of "Guido's" brand hired thugs should help.
