Phyxius
Would it be possible to use multiple external wastegates, and a very small exhaust AR? In my mind, two or three wastegates would flow all of the exhaust that the turbo couldn't handle while the turbo would spool up much faster. Clifton
How fast do you want it to spool? It's not a diesel. If you are using a turbo capable of making good power, say a 60-1. If it was to reach 15-20 psi by say 2000 rpms or around there, it would surge. It's ok to have some lag. Having full boost in an RPM range that is way below you usefull power band doesn't gain anything but extra back pressure at higher RPMs. A stage III or O trim wheel is as small as I would go and no less than a .63 a/r.
