midnightzxt
I have just installed 1.5" wheel spacers on my hubs to bring the stock wheels to the edge of the wheel well. It looks beautiful, but what affect will this have on performance? I don't have any pics of the difference yet. Should I take them off before racing at the track? innerware
There was a really good post a few months back about this very topic. The conclusion was if I remember correctly that the spacers didn't increase the failure rate. Try looking for it I believe it was pretty lengthy. BrandonsZ
I don't think it would be unsafe, but the performance should improve slightly. Probably not noticeable except on the race track. But you are in essence increasing the width of the car which will give it better stability.
Cody 82 ZXT
I love what the spacers did for my car. I have a page about them and rims on my web page. Lets see some pics of your new setup.
