spdsk8r Posted November 29, 2004 Share Posted November 29, 2004 The recirculating ball and roller steering will have a steering box on the drivers side rail which interferes with most exhaust manifolds and, at this point, all commercially available headers. The rack and pinnion will have a steering rack behind the crossmember possibly interfereing with the oilpan. I hope this answers your question. My appartment is in Lansing where I'm doing the college thing. And my Datsun is in storage this winter at my Grandparents house in Three Rivers ...I guess that explains why I'm so scatterbrained!
