Guest Script
What is involved in removing the upper circular tubing peace on these bumpers? Some 240s have them and some don't. I prefer the look without on front and back. The front looks easy enough but how about the back? I prefer just a small straight bumper like this one. datsunlover
IIRC, there is only one bolt in behind those little 'bumperetts' holding them to the main bumper. You may have to remove the whole bumper to get at then though. I'd assume its the same for the rear, but don't have any expiriance with the rear.. mine was gone when I got my Z. Guest Script
I’m talking about the chrome tubing pipe. Can this not be removed without cutting? Does any one have any info?
5foot2
They bolt on to the bumpers. I think I read somewhere that they were a dealer add on, not from the factory.
280Zone
They can be removed but you will be left with the holes and an outline on the chhrome where they were. You should be able to see the screw/bolts that are holding them on.
Guest Brian260ZT
Perhaps you could offer a trade for what you want. I'm sure there are people out there that would prefer to have the overriders.
