Guest Won'tletmyzDie
I searched around on the forum for something relating to what I was going to say but didn't find anything. Datsun ECU's are rebuildable. Have performed this myself. All you have to do is either have more than one ecu and just rebuild the two out of the parts (you don't need much ore than a sautering iron). You could also buy newer compnents that match the specifications of the one your replacing, but they may not be the same size. I have experimented with performance tuning this ecu with different capacitors etc.. Only successful one lost its low rpm jump but once the car hit about 4 grand my brothers mustang BULLITT had a hard time keeping up. I need to get a scope and build one right Once I get it done right I'll tell you guys what I did.
BillZ260
That's cool that you are playing with them, maybe you could make one with rheostats and make lots of things adjustable. I will look up in the attic to see if I still have mine, if I do it's yours to 'play' with.
