cyrus
I got an ideas from a member here, to use my 1994 6 sp supra differential into my 240Z. It looks do able I would just use axles that changed from supra one end to 230 splines (if they are different). differential info http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/articles/torsen.htm http://mkiv.com/techarticles/auto_to_6spd_swap/differential/index.html Now is the Q45 R200 viscuous and how does that compare. THe gleason looks cool. Cyrus
Doug71zt
I didn't know that they had a gleason in them. I would definitely go this way. Was your Supra a USDM car or a JDM car? In the text of the second link, they say the the USDM 6-speed cars had a 3.133 ratio, while the JDM 6 speeds where around 3.26. Using the Z32TT or Q45 outer CV setup and mating them with a custom shaft would be perfect. Doug
1 tuff z
the supra diff's don't have a gleason-torsen lsd, but the company that spun-off, zexel-torsen does carry a unit for the supra. i went by there about 2 years ago to see if they might still have an old r200 unit kicking around...no luck. they would have been happy, however, to make me a run of them if i put up the cash to purchase 500 units...i passed. david
