Benedict
I plan on installing an LS1 T-56 combo into an S13 240SX coupe and have been using this site as a reference. Would it be possible to use the clutch and pedal assembly from the S13 or is it a better idea to source one from an f-body? Also, what are the possible advantages or disadvantages of using the Corvette 6-speed over an f-body 5-speed? Thanks for any help.
Guest PROJECTRB240SX
If You Want Your Transmission To Be In The Rear End Of The Car You Can Use The Vette Trans If Not Your Stuck With The F Body T56. The S13 Slave Is A Push Style While The T56 Uses A Pull Style Slave..... No Match You Will Have To Use A F-body Slave And Master Or Fab Up A Custom Setup. Guest jer
actually only the lt1 t56 uses a pull style slave. the ls1 t56 uses a hydraulic throwout bearing stock for the f body trans.
DaleMX
The stock clutch pedal with a willwood 1 3/4 cylinder with the stock plunger put into it is the route I'm taking for my LS1/T56. Here's a thread. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=96953
