SBC_400
I have a 1988 camaro T-5 and a 70's small block 400. what I am wondering is... Will a bellhousing from a 91 v8 t-5 camaro work for me?
80LS1T
It should, they are both Gen 1 SBC. The 86' and up I believe area 1 piece rear main, but that shouldn't affect the actual bolting up the tranny. I dont know if you will need "special" clutch set up though? And I doubt the bolt pattern on the 88' T5 is different from the 91' T5 Guy
SBC_400
ok, that is what I was looking for. thank you now, the bellhousing I am looking at is set up for hydraulic linkage. will that be a problem setting it up in my new chassis, which is being built now. it is a totaly custom chassis and cage, the datsun body will just sit on it. Guest 406_ZDriftr
Do you already have your 400 in your car? If so, are there any differences between that and the 350, like the pulleys or balancer?
