Phyxius
I haven't seen this posted, so I thought I would ask. What is the advantage of using a HEI module over the stock Nissan module? Is it simply a cost effectiveness thing, or does the HEI module add some measure of upgrade to the ignition system?
Tony D
O.K> THIRD TIME TRYING TO POST THIS! Short and sweet before something happens again. HEI Aftermarket like Pertronix Flamethrower 100mm spark, blue white, cranking and idle speed. No over 4500 dwell and spark dropoff like stock HEI modules. Nissan Module, hard to find on the road, expensive, spark production less than the $40 aftermarket HEI's available!
mobythevan
The 4 pin HEI module controls dwell. 7 pin HEI does not. Nissan module???? MSnS code does not control dwell, so..... MSnS_Extra code can control dwell, but that function is experimental. My suggestion, use either code you like, use 4 pin HEI module and know that dwell is controlled, unless you like to experiment with this stuff
