speedstylez78
i have aquired a f54 block for free and i think someone a long time ago may have gone through it and put high compression pistons in it. Does a stock '81 f54 comes with flat-top piston. i mic'ed the pistons and they average 3.386. havent measured stroke but the pistons come flush the the top of the block at tdc. the crank has the casting p30 on it and the rods look stock. assuming these are high compression pistons can anyone give a guess at what kind of compression i would be running if i throw a stock n42 head on it
Z-Gad
81-83 n/a F54 blocks came with flat-tops. Stock bore is 86mm. With an N42 head and Felpro gasket, you are looking at 10:1 compression.
