azguy
I did some seaching but couldn't find any pics. Is anyone running tires with white lettering face out on a z or zx? Looking for tires and wonder if it would look good or not. Anyone with stock z rims, maybe turbo rims cause that's what i've got for now. Guest Aaron
I had them on my 81zx in high school. I personally liked them, but I tend to like white letters on most cars/trucks. It is personal taste really. Find a tire place with your tires in stock, and ask them to let you roll two of them out to the car and place them beside your car. That will let you get an idea of the look.
fl327
They dont make as many cool white letter tires anymore, I like how they look on the early zs with a nice 60series tire myself.
COZY Z COLE
I bought these at " Big O " in 2003 for my 75 280Z. LARRY
HeatRaveR
I've seen in catalogs some kind paint/marker to paint in the letters of a regular, black tire. I don't know how well the stuff stays though, or if it's just as good as the factory white letters.
Guest KEINoze
There aren't any good white letter tyre out there. I had BFG Radial T/A's on my car. They had a really thin sidewall that bounced the car around. Not recommended except for looks.

I currently have a set of stock size firehawks on my zx and I’m pretty happy with them. Decent ride' date=' reasonable handling, good stopping, ect. for a daily driver anyway. [/color'] As to the original question about raised white letters, I think they look really good on the 14†rims. Give that ‘old school’ look and feel to the car. --gabe
azguy
That is a good idea getting some from the tire shop and rolling them out to car to look at them like that. I still have yet to see a complete pic of a z or zx with white raised lettering or outlining. I just think it would look sweet. I love the old school look. cyrus
I personally would not do it. Since you can not get high perforance as in way beyond BFGs. I think pick-a-part instead of old school when I see them. But to each his own.
