EZ-E Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 I read when installing the turbo, well in my case the one Im installing you do need a spacer, (T3/TO4E), but I was reading to line it up properly that you would have to loosen the bolts and turn the housing to match the stock set up. I know this will sound stupid but on which side is it better to do this? At the compressor side or the turbine side. Does it make a difference ? Thanks. That proceedure is so simple that you'd be better off just to loosen both sides, comp & exh, and clock it to where everything lines up and fits as you like it to, then tighten er up.... The only reason I ever had to use a spacer was because of me steping up to a much larger turbine housing, which caused it to contact the manifold without the spacer to move it out, and away from the manifold.
