yoogener
I own a '71 240Z and spotted auctions on a set of keyswitches and seat rails. I found out that the seat rails were off of a 280 and I was wondering if it will match the brackets on the 240. Also, I assumed that all ignition and door/hatch keyswitches can be universally used among all 240, 260, and 280s. Am I wrong? If so, is there a simple and common way to convert mismatching keyswitches to make it work for the desired car model? Thanks.

Seat tracks would probably mount to the seats, but are mounted differently to the frame work of the car. Would require modifications. The actual locks and keys, yes. Wiring for the switch, I would think would be different. Welcome to HybridZ!
