I've got an 83 280zxt and was wondering where everyone has gotten thier upgraded/reground cams from? Before anyone says it, my goals are over 400hp, infact, I'm pretty sure I'm past that right now. I dynod 345whp at 19psi and run 30 right now. (masterpower T-70 turbo). Anyways, I just want to see which companies are fimiliar with our turbo z cams and also, what springs/retainers you are using. Thanks in advance.

I have a stage 1 turbo cam from MSA (Schneider).

Then I had the rockers reground at Delta Cams.

Then I used crane springs and retainers from summit racing.

Then I used 0.170 lash pads from courtesy nissan.

I would had used a delta cam but they didn't have the extra wide lobe seperation required for a turbo.

Idle is smooth but not as smooth as stock. Pulls to over 6500 rpm.

spork,, what do you have for a bottom end??? i have a insky cam

Well, I'll give a few more details as well as maybe it'll help get a few more responses...lol. I'm runing polished rods (stock) and stock crank with 30 over Venolia pistons (but don't even get me started on the quality of them). Other than that, I've got a master power T-70 turbo, one of Thagard's custom intakes, a custom header I built, and then the usual stuff to go with it like external wastegate, blow off valve, spearco...blah blah blah.
