Wilwood Superlite defective?

Recommended Posts

Well I have a 5lug settup and for some reason its much more for the rotor hat that goes with it..

I was quoted 1470 from percision brake company, and 1200 + 300(for 13" rotor) from AZC

my question, do you think it would be cheaper to get the mounting brackets from AZC and use a different companys 5Lug kit (willwood PDF says I can get it for 750)?

Thanks Cody, the last pictures were very helpful. I need to get to the junkyard some day and compare some parts off the 300zx , toyota, with the 280zx....and see if I can do something similar to what you did, but maybe with a caliper with larger brake pads...

I will certaintly post it, that is if I actually ever get to do it (I always have more plans than time)

Funny you mentioned the larger pads. I took my car over to show my Dad the latest Z gadgets and all he could say was "looks like you need a differnet caliper in the back." I agree it does need a better caliper in the back. I used the stock caliper to retain the use of the parking brake. As the car evolves from a street car to a track car I think I'll get some Wilwoods for the back also.
