Guest TegRacer324
I got pretty much the whole throttle linkage together so I tried turning it over. Didn't have enough battery to crank it though, but at least the starter works and it's not seized. I put a wrench on the crank though and it's still hard to turn over even with the plugs out. I put some oil in there anyone have any other suggestions to help it out?
datsunlover
If the car's been sitting a long time (not running) and you're trying to fire it up, I'd pour some oil down the plug holes and let it sit for a while. Then try turning it over by hand from the crank pully.. (I don't know if it'll make a difrence, but I've been told not to rotate it the oposite way that actually runs.. Clockwise) Might help... savageskaterkid
i was told u spray penetrating oil in the spark plug holes and let it sit over nite. It will disolve the rust that forms between the rings and cylinder walls from sitting
