Collectindust240Z
I don't know if this belongs here or not, but I've got a question. Has anyone ever used hardwood as a carb spacer? This is an old school hot rodder trick. I didn't really like the linkage geometry on my tipple Dell's, so I fabbed up some 3/4" maple spacers. I don't have the motor in the car yet, so I don't know how they'll work. I've been told that they should work just fine. At least they'll smell good when they catch fire!!! Tony D
Bakelite sheeting also works fine, and it's a wood product...
