Guest thanley58
I have a 350 in my Z and I need to replace the clutch slave cylinder, but I don't know type it is. It looks exactly like a standard 240z cylinder but because it's mounted on the left side instead of the right, it has the bleeder on the opposite side (the bleeder needs to be on the top). I figure someone else here must be using the same one and might be able to tell me what model car it's from.

y-not
It probably is the 240 slave. I used the 280 slave in my 302 powered 280Z. The way to bleed it is to remove it, hold it up side down, then bleed it while holding the piston in. It works just fine. Bill
BobsZTwins
I had the same problem on my Scarab bellhousing, the 240 slave would fit but had the bleed valve on the bottom. I found that NAPA part number 37495 did the trick. Fit perfectly and has the bleed valve on the top.
