VE, Spark, and AFR maps for 383ci Chevy V8

Don, thanks for posting that!

 

I'm fumbling along trying to get my 406 MS-I map even close. Even though yours isn't 8x8, I can still use it to come close by just leaving some rows and columns out here and there.

 

Can you provide specs on the engine?

Compression?

Heads? Flow?

Cam specs?

Headers? Size?

Exhaust?

Here are the maps for my 383 SBC with Holley Stealth Ram intake and 36lb/hr injectors.

Not perfect' date=' but good for 11.49@119MPH at the track and 19MPG on my commute...

11.49 AND 19mpg?!?!?! You spraying it or is the car EXTREMELY light? Congrats! I have only gone 13.1 and get ~25mpg. That was on a previous tune of 230rwhp, now have 292rwhp, but mpg shouldn't have been affected.

 

Give us some more details on your car and setup!

Engine:

383ci small block Chevy

10.3:1 compression

AFR 190 heads

Lunati hydraulic cam .480 lift, 230@.050 duration

Hooker 1 5/8" block hugger headers and a single 3" Dynomax ultra flow muffler

Holley Stealth RAM intake, 36 lb/hr injectors, LT1 throttle body

 

Transmission:

2004R w/2400 RPM stall

 

Diff:

R200 3.54:1 w/clutch LSD

240Z 1/2 shafts w/Neapco Brute Force ujoints

 

The car weighs about 2825 lbs with me in it. It's a blast to drive! :twisted:
