Guest Anonymous
Normaly when I see honda's with more stickers than they have paint I just brushed it off thinking they're just idiots and left it at that, but yesterday I saw something that annoyed the crap out of me. It was a four door grand am with chinese lettering and a type R sticker plastered across the rear window. Now I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure there are NO grand am's in china and I KNOW there are no "type R" grand am's. Atleast the honda's stuck to something that could be true, this guy had a serious case of mistaken identity.
fl327
eh, yeah the guy or gal is misguided. my girl caught me talking a load of smack about the same thing, and her theory is they, they are making the most of what they have, and what they cant do mechanically they do with labels and stripes and the like, they are just trying to have one. me, you put that in the public eye and you get different sentiments, hey you wont catch me putting a type r sticker on anything, maybe a small reference to gm but definitely nothing that i dont have. Guest SuperDave
As I stood in the parts store yesterday, waiting for the guy to develop a clue about the difference between an oil pressure sensor and an oil level sensor (I ended up pointing the part out to him on his computer), I glanced out the window. Cruising slowly past the window was a bright red Olds Calais (you know, Quad 4 era) with a whaletail spoiler and Kanji covering the back window. Fortunately I hadn't eaten lunch yet, so I handled it well.
ZR8ED
Thats pretty annoying. But I really hate it when I see huge wings on 4 door stocko civics (their only mod..not even a coffee can exhaust), or cars driving around with unpainted "ninja" front ends on very stock looking cars ie still running hubcaps... geeez..... Nothing wrong with putting on a body kit...but hey.. it ain't done till its painted bud.
Sumo
It was a four door grand am with chinese lettering and a type R sticker plastered across the rear window Well ya know, here in Dallas you see a couple of Dodge shadows and an 86 Mercury Cougar with Type R or Mugen with these mexican guys driving them. I guess they think its a brand name or status symbol like if they plaster Kenwood on the window and they only have a Sparcomatic stereo inside. Wait till I get a chance to photograph this 96 mustang 6cyl. with 8 tailpipes on it 4 at the back and 2 a piece on each side.

DCZ
Hey guys, lighten up. When you put Type R and Kanji stickers on a Grand Am, that makes it a HYBRID Grand Am!

Guest Anonymous
V8 in a Z... Preposterous, it'd never fit, its to heavy, it won't handle, it'll over heat, the vibration is terrible and only a heathen under the influence of Satan ( ) would even think of building such a thing..... Guest Anonymous
I'd make a comment about decals and spoilers on import cars that don't go; but Detroit pumped out a lot of cars just like that in the '70s and '80s.
