I use "audio recorder for free" http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tag=srch&nid=1&qt=audio+recorder+for+free&tg=dl-20 which allows one to record any sound that plays out of your computers speakers - good for streaming music like from a internet radio station or any other sound you can hear coming from your computers speakers that you want to save to your hard drive.
