silicone boy
I keep on reading your stories and I can't wait to get back on the road again (especially after reading pete's last post--I want to give my 6 year old daughter a tummy ache). Reading this section inspired me to tear down a perfectly adequate running V8 Z (mildly warmed over)and turn it into a monster--it's now in a million pieces and I hope I can get it back together. Now that I'm deep into the re-do, I think I must be crazy (my wife certainly thinks so). I just dropped nearly a grand with Jeg's and Summit tonite buying parts for my new motor:cry2: (I probably could have had a 93 RX7 by now with what I've spent on the project). It hurts but the "kill" stories inspire me. Please keep them coming.

Guest Anonymous
Silicone Boy.. you must have missed Keith's post and pictures on his RX7 V8 conversion. There is no need to fret over spending enough money to have bought a new Rx7 when you should be looking for an old RX7 to convert too.My project has taken so many turns and undergone so many untried modifications, I am now worried it will ever be finished. And what is worse. I have two other projects in the wings. This Sunday. I took the rear tub off the Tomahawk project and tried on the Origin convertible cap and removeable hardtop.I am so confused that I like the "new look". This afternoon, I took delivery on another Performer Manifold and tomorrow I will........check out this old RX7 and....$$$$$$$
