Cody 82 ZXT
Are you in an area that has to emisions testing? If so then theres really not anything you can legally remove.
HeatRaveR
I was hoping to simplify my '82 Turbo too. It's so darn complicated with all those hoses and wires and sht going everywhere. But since I'm in CA, with some of the strictest laws, I'm scared to touch anything. So I too am interested in finding out what bits I can remove, or at least convert to something neater. Cody 82 ZXT
Nothing that I know of says you can't reroute the zillion vacuum lines that run over the top of the motor. That is what I did when I was worried about passing the test. These motors are not the cleanest running motors so even removing one peice will put you over the edge in my experience. If you are looking for more power then I tell you it can certainly be had even with all the emisions equipment inplace.
turbobluestreak
personally I like my extra power accessories, but I didn't like the A/C, Cruise, and all of my emissions. Hey since your trashing your cruise you sould do a cable conversion. I did and love it, you'll need to do some custom fab work on the pedle, on the hole in the fire wall, and need to get a 84 200sx throttle cable. tbs
