Guest zfan
Well I was dissapointed in my two runs last night. I could not get car to hook up,can you say Drag radials please!! My first run was 14 flat with 1rst and 2nd gear up in smoke the whole way, only hooked up when going to 3rd. By the way Im running a 700r4 auto. My 60 ft. was 2.4 with trap speed of 107. Second run I had a friend put lead bricks in the back of car and I really warmed tires up this time. Ran 13 flat with less spin but still too much spin. 60 ft. was 2.24 trap speed was 110. I think 12's will not be a problem with 235/60-15 drag radials I plan to buy before returning to the strip. By the way I lost both races but raced my friend in the last one and he ran a pr. of 12.80 to beat my 13.0 I just could not catch him on the big end he got 2 tenths on me in the first 60 ft. scottyMIz
sounds like it's running good.I just ran a 109.9mph pass and i turned a 12.9 flat but had a crappy 2.0 60' time on street tires. So 12's will definately not be a prob for you
