Guest 73LT1Z Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I searched for "sender" in this forum and couldn't find an answer to this. I bought a 280Z w/o a motor. I bought the water temp sender at Rock Auto for this car (pic attached), and it is unthreaded. I bought the JTR bushing to adapt the Datsun sender to the Chevy LT1 head, and the sender fits in OK, but there is no way to hold it in place. The JTR book refers to the stock Datsun "nut".
