Guest zfan
I am really interested in the new Mickey Thompson drag radials and especially the new 255-50-16's that they offer. If I go this route I know I will need coil overs and plan on a 8" rim with 4.5 to 5" of backspace. Has anyone successfully run this set up on your 240Z's? My Z has 235/60-15 BFG drag radials but they are a joke when it comes to traction on the street. At the track I run a M/T ET drag slicks and dead hook pulling mid 1.50 60 ft's. I would love to run the Mickey Thompson drag radials on the street and the track. No changing the damn wheels and adapters all the time. Mikelly
I believe they will fit. If you go to my weblink and check in the "new Zcarproject Pics" folder, You'll see the mustang silver five spoke wheels. On the rear I'm running some 255-40-17s The backspacing I believe is 5.5inches on these stock wheels and I run a 1/2 inch wheel spacer to clear the coil over.
