Z0wner
are the windshields interchangeable among Z's? I am curious, because mine has a whitish fog near the drivers-side window that doesn't come off I don't know why or what, but it looks smashed into the center of the glass Thanks
Tim240z
A brand new one is only about $
Pop N Wood
Windshields age, too. All the dust and dirt hitting them at speed really cuts the visibility over the years. Hard to believe can still get new ones for $120.
katman
After about 2 seasons of road racing a windshield will get so sandbalsted you can't hardly see out of it when looking into the sun. Some aftermarket windshields weigh a good bit less than stock, which is a bona fida Mark Donohoue "unfair advantage" in ITS. 240-260-280 all the same. Z0wner
so, where exactly would you purchase say new windshield?
tannji
Call your local Autoglass installers, I did here in BFE, Iowa... and I came up with $149, installed.
ToplessZ
has anyone had one installed in this manner. I am curious if they use the stock style weatherstipping around the windshield. Would be cool if they used a slimmer type that didn't use the trim
tannji
They use stock style here, didnt think to ask if they had the other style available for the Z.
AK-Z
Price also matters on if they have one on hand and If they don't then it woul include shipping cost. Up here in alaska I was quoted $375.

AK-Z
But everything must cost more in Alaska. Just use your oil check I would but even that is taxed and cost of living up here is more, plus I"m still im college (can't get enough education).
