MIBPreacher
I have a 1987 300zx 2+2, Na, Auto. If I am sitting in the drivers seat, and looking at the console, I see a rocker switch just above the passenger side mirror control. What is that for? I accidently turned it on, and my transmission wouldnt shift unless it was 4k + rpm. If I turn it off, then my transmission shifts fine. It is faded so I cannot tell what it has on it. I have a OD button on my shifter, what is this for? I would really appreciate any help. New 300zx owner.
HeatRaveR
I don't know about that rocker switch (sounds like a "sport mode" switch to allow it to rev higher before shifting), but "OD" stands for "OverDrive". For the most part, you want to leave that activated (I don't even know why they bother putting it there) that allows your transmission to get into its top gear. MIBPreacher
Sorry, I wasnt asking about the OD switch, I was asking about the unknown rocker switch.
