I thought about the Xtera motor for my Z. There is alot more support for management and upgrades for turbo motors. I suppose you could get a stand alone ecu, injectors a big intercooler and make good power. With the same amount of money you can make insane power with a turbo motor. For that reason alone thats why my Z has a vg30det. If power is what your after go turbo. Your going to spend alot of down time wth either route. If your wanting something neat that no one else has the Xtera motor does sound pretty trick..

i thought about this too.. 3.3 block, (its a VG motor isnt it?) and with some VG30DETT heads would make for a killer engine.

ditch the ecu for a megasquirt, microtech, or so on and im sure power would be awesome.
