Guest carl sky
I'm sure it's been discussed before, but I'm searching for the best, cost-effective A/C system. Modify G/M? Aftermarket? Thanks Carl Sky
Phantom
Need to 'search' this site then. There is a current thread on a Vintage Air AC installation in a 240Z. I would think, however, that living in Lucille you'd be spending more time thinking about studded snow tires than AC? I'll bet you do have some sweet roads to run in that area. Lewis Maudlin
Yes, you need to search, but when I had a 260Z with an sbc, here is what I did. My car was a factory air car but everything had been removed. I went to the junkyard and found the original factory parts. I then threw away the compressor and connected gm compressor unit. The air worked great. It was cheap and effective and used all of the stock dials and did not take up space. Do a search.
