Guest Vee's Z
Hey Gang, I'm looking to take my "85" to another level. I'm looking for frame reinforcement kits for the floor board, cross towers and front & rear wheel wells. Does anyone have a lead where to buy one? Hollywood Motorsports had them about 10 years ago but, I don't think they're around any more. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. "Life Is Living Your Dreams"! evildky
maybe you should leave your roof on and find a starman (I believe thats what they are called) conversion, they seem to be popping up lately
AK-Z
I don't know if this will work, but there were/are(?) frame reinforcements for the 97(?) mustang convertibles. You can try to adpapt them or make you own version off of those. I saw them on HorsePower TV on SpikeTV a while back.
ZZZero
They were called straman convertibles, from wich I understand there are only 8 in existence. (well only 8 where made how many are left I do not know.)
Twoeightnine
Try Z Therapy. They sell a vid that takes you through the process. It is one nice looking car!! Once you see there example car, you will be compelled to do one! It seems that the top is chopped and retained for use on the *** of the carr. Part of the top about were the dome light is and about half of the hatch rails are used for the trunk. Im seriously considering the conversion for Z #2. The process is scary, but the results are very nice!
