Mike Rowe
With fitting the RB20 sump to the RB26 there would appear to be an obvious discrepancy in capacity - does anyone know the figures for each? I'm wondering whether I will need to add some more depth to the pan to pick up some more oil for circulation, especially given that I am going to use an oil cooler and remote filter housing? Anyone thought this one through?
240Z_Master
Let's see, according to the R33 Factory Service Manual...(Keep in mind that the RB20 for this manual refers to the Skyline and not the 200ZR oil pan). There are different specs for N1, or Standard, but you have two eyes so just read it. I hope this helps! I also believe that this chart is in liters so that will help you and all of us yanks will get semi-confused.
Mike Rowe
Quoc, thanks very much for this! I went on your website to have a re look - it is bloody excellent mate, people are very lucky to have access to it. I have just put up a website that my brother did, and trying in some small way to do something like you have done for others as well. You were my inspiration BTW what is a 200ZR? regards

All other RB20DET's like from R32's have front sump oil pans.
