Billy Ryan
I was searching on the forum for options on an intake manifold and I came across this. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=102370 . The guy made his own intake manifold out of a oxygen bottle!!! I was wondering if anybody else has ever constructed a homemade manifold? Any pics? Thanks. Billy Ryan
How well does your Intake Manifold work? I was thinking about making my own.
Tony240ZT
I made up that custom one, because the piping on a 7M with the throttle body pointing over the middle of the valve covers, and having the intercooler piping next to the turbo didn't look right to me. James uses ram tubes in the intake manifolds, which helps effeciency. I forget the exact % (5% maybe), I'm sure you can figure it out here by doing a search. I haven't dyno'd my car yet, but will post stats probably later on this year. Also, I was able to bolt on a larger throttle body doing it this way.
