Guest Anonymous
Well, Guy's I'm ready to start my conversion.. I've been following this forum for months.. I've learned a lot, but I got a way to go . I started out with an 83 ZX, But with more research, I found that the ZX's were not the choice for conversions. So, I am putting it back together and will sell it. I aquired a 78 Z, and this will be my conversion car… I have Humble's How to Restore your Z car, and JTR's V-8 conversion manual.. I will restore the car , then change the engine, looking for completion near end of summer. I am in the Memphis TN area, (just south of state line in Southaven) I want to see if there is anyone restoring or doing the engine swap around here.. Would be good to have someone else to talk to and work with on a project like this.. I have a 1975 Bricklin that I have restored, Came out pretty good.. Thanks for your time Lloyd

Mike kZ
Welcome Lloyd, sounds like you've got a good start! So you want to totally restore the car, then do the engine swap all by the end of summer? Good luck, you have about 7 months to do all that. Unless you work on it every spare second you have, I would extend that time frame a bit. If you have any questions, just give us a shout! ------------------ http://members.tripod.com/~SnowSurfer/mikekz1.html
DavyZ
Sounds like you're going about it from the right direction and have read a lot! Make a plan, stick with it, and you'll do it! David
