So, I was working on my engine today and I put my daughter to work. I was explaining how all the parts worked and what they were called and I let her install the springs and keepers and tighten the Main caps.

And I told her how you ALWAYS triple check your work...........

NOW HERE IS THE FUNNY PART!

She looks down at my engine mounts I had installed yesterday and she says..." Uh Dad ,you have those on wrong" and I'm like ......WHAT???

I look down in disbelief and sure enough one engine mount is 6 inches high than the other!! When I swapped the mounts I had looked at what side I was swapping and was just certain that I had done it right, so I didn't even bother double-checking something so obviously wrong cuz well.....I knew I did right!! haha

So, here is my ten year old girl mechanic that has never even worked on a motor and within 2 minutes she noticed a glaring failure on my part!!

I bet I wouldn't have even noticed it until I was trying to lower the engine into the compartment and I'd been like.... man.... what's keeping this thing from going in!!! LOL

I was so proud of her and so ashamed of myself!! LOL

My oldest daughter is 2 and half and she walks around the house with a screw driver or whatever looks like one and trys to unscrew everything with a screw in it. I hope to one day set her loose in the garage and let her help me out. Next year I'm going to make her assemble her own bike, LOL!

Or maybe you'll come home one day and your car will have an extra turbo installed. Meanwhile she's playing with an empty box that says "Garrett"

That would make it a triple turbo RB26, hmmm... LOL

LOL, at Christmas SHE TOOK THE SEAT OFF HER TRICYCLE! If I leave a tool laying out, she is ALL OVER IT!

When we are sitting at a red light, she watches the other traffic's light for it to change, when it does, she says "GO,GO,GO, DAD! I see a Jr. Dragster in her future for sure.
