b__sosick
So my dad is finally at that mid life stage. He has always wanted a vette since he was my age and is now in a position that its a very distinct possibility. His max he is looking to spend on a used vette is 10k. He wants a running working car. Not a she'll to drop an engine in. So what year/model do you think would be ideal for him? Best bang for buck, under 10 grand? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated! 80LS1T
You shold be able to get a C3 or C4 for that much. Just depends which body style he likes. Look on ebay to see what they are going for in the type of condition he wants. I would think the C3 would be a little more than the C4 since most dont care for the C4's(they are the ugliest in my opinion). Guy
b__sosick
I'm not too familiar with when the "c3" begins, and when it ends and becomes a "c4"?
Dudeboy
Go to http://www.buyavette.net Outside of buying direct from a Chevrolet dealer, they may have what your looking for and/or you tell them what you want.
EZ-E
Right now on Hemmings there is a 94 Vette, SC producing 605 hp for 24K. That has to be the one to get
boodlefoof
C3 = 1968 - 1982. The '68-'72 have the front chrome bumpers instead of the plastic nose piece. They are in pretty high demand. The later C3s can be found for relatively low prices. C4 = 1984 - 1996. 1983 was somewhat of an aberration. There were production problems so none were ever sold to the public.
