Think i figured out my little spudder problem

Today driving the Z back from a friends house i floor it with the boost controller off.. well went way past 7psi.. so i do it again and does it again.

i try it in a higher gear and same thing.

so hmm.. wait a few more secs and try it again.. fine... right at 7psi.

besides that i found out i have a few fuel leaks on my fuel cell.

from the outlet line, breather line, and sender.

fuel pressure is sometimes solid, sometimes it flutters on the gauge.. but it always has that miss/spudder.

so im thinking its that.

will tear it all down this week if i can and fix it, also fix a few other things and see if it helps.

 

boost problem when cold im not sure about.

Sounds like the wastegate is sticking or the vacuum line connected to it is having some issues.

 

There would be no reason that turning the boost controller off would change anything since the boost controller only controls boost above wastegate pressure.
