JaysZ
so i removed the heat shield and all the bolts on the top flange and all the nuts on the bottom flange of the header. i removed the muffler and piping which left just the header. i tried to shake it loose and managed to wiggle it only a few millimeters, but nothing more. there is almost NO clearance to the side. can someone verify how many nuts and bolts i need to remove to take this header off? will i need a new gasket? i currently have SU's hooked up, will I need to remove them first? i'm trying to avoid that if possible. i'm also planning on removing the AC compressor too. sorry for all the questions! thanks for any help
mark
Remove the intake manifold. Then the header will come off. You need a new gasket. Good luck in dental school. Where are you going? I went to UNC, class of 87.
