I made my rear trunk out of a shortened rear hatch, skinned with a roof skin off a 2+2 i had around and filled in the sides with strips of sheet metal from a hood. I started with a 1972 240z i've had since 1973, so it was beat up pretty well, but once you start you keep going and five years later it was on the road. I had the six point cage welded in before i cut the roof off and tied the front and rear frame rails together with c channed from the scrap metal store. Iv'e had mine on the road for 12 years now, my 472z cadillac project has kept me busy for the last three years but i still love driving "toplsz" when the sun is out.
