Sparks280zt
If the digitals are working then I would keep them. But if they went out I would switch to analog. http://www.az-zbum.com/modification.dash.conversion.shtml
b__sosick
All the gauges are working. Even the "gallons left" thing. The only things not working is the compass. Update: its final. Dad test drove it. Is spotting me the money to pick it up tomorrow. I should have it within 24 hours!
Dave88SS
All the gauges are working. Even the "gallons left" thing. The only things not working is the compass. There is a compass calibration box behind the spare tire. Here's how to calibrate it: http://z31.com/oboard/archives/view.pl?
Guest XXtaZy
I heard those motors don't like to go much over 100K, but I have no experiance with them. I know one thing, when you look under the hood of a Z32, there is NO room anywere, idk if this is the same with the Z31. Everything needs to be done by a mechanic, becuz its a PITA to do anything More room to work under the hood and everyone I've had, I've gotten 200k out of. I love z31. They are my fav. Specially the 87 - 89. Check out z31.com to see what to look for. Change all your vacuum lines (saves you headaches in the long run). I agree, timing belts are usually the biggest worry. (good that it has one done). They engines are a little tight, but I learned how to work on cars in my z31 and I really enjoyed it. Saw a z32 and quickly said no thanks. I've ALWAYS enjoyed my z31s. They were slept on, but are probably my favorite.
b__sosick
Thanks again fellas. :] I'm not too concerned with the compass but I'll recalibrate it just for fun. Also, what is the gauge next to the compass supposed to be? It is also not functioning.
