TTLT1383Z
i was wondering first if anyone has put a late 60s stlye 427 corvette style hood on their z, if so i would like to see some pics, im debating weather or not to put one on mine, and also has anyone put a targa top/t-tops on an early z? just curious -TTLT1383Z
Sparks280zt
yes there have been some t-tops installed on early Zs. There is a guy in SC with a red 240 that he cut the roof off and transplanted a 280zx roof onto. The dimensions are very similiar it seems. Chewievette
Which 60's 427 corvette, your probably thinking of one of these two... 1967: 1969: I have seen the '69 scoop installed before but never the '67. I have been planning to put one on mine for a long time but It might be a while till I get to bodywork.
boodlefoof
The "stinger" hood is probably my favorite hood design of all time. (The hood on the '67 pictured above). I'm planning on getting one for my '68 Camaro at some point.
TTLT1383Z
ya im talking about the 67 style (stinger) hood, if anyone has any pics of it on a z i would like to see them thanks
Chewievette
I've never seen it but then again, I havn't been into Z's too long. I'll be putting one on mine during bodywork this coming winter. JcWhitney sells a couple of different sizes of them, I think the larger one would fit the best.
