I can still hear it faintly, I'm guessing the speaker is blown. how hard is this to fix? what size speaker do I need? Is this a Datsun specific speaker? Any input would be helpful. Thanks. Brad-ManQ45 Posted April 14, 2006 Share Posted April 14, 2006 That is a 3.5" speaker 4 ohms, and you have to take the dash off to get to it. If the speaker sounds good playing music, then more than likely the Voice module needs to be replace. Not discounting the idea that the wires may be messed up a bit, just saying if your other wires have held up, it's probably the op-amp in the voice module that is fried, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a spare voice module if you are interested. the 280zx voice module is a record type playback (think record discs) so you can't real reprogram them.
