JaysZ Posted May 11, 2006 Share Posted May 11, 2006 ok, i removed all the bolts to the fender from the engine bay from the headlight bucket to the access panel. there was also one holding it in near the door hinge. i gave it a tug and it is still solid. it seems to be stitch welded at the bottom, is that normal or did the previous owner do that? besides that, are there other bolts needed to remove this fender? In addition to the bolts you mentioned mine had a couple of bolts on the bottom of the fender that bolted them vertically to the car. wheelman Posted May 11, 2006 Share Posted May 11, 2006 There is also a strip of foam insulation that attaches the fender to a bulkhead toward the rear of the fender.
