zero
So i just got my car back on the road a few days ago. My car is nothing too crazy; a built l24, flat black, straight pipes. So, having replaced the transmission, I wanted to go for a bit of a drive. I picked up my best friend, giancarlo, and we went for a ride around his relatively rich town of montclair, nj. My car is a bit out of place there. To give you an idea, Michael Strahan lives in this town and has his vanquish, bentley and lamborghini truck parked in his driveway. So anyway, we were driving around and came to a wierd intersection where i was trying to make a left into light traffic. I waited my turn and finally turned left. As I'm making the turn Giancarlo says to me "wow man, the guy in the crossfire was drooling over your car." just in time for me to check it out in my rear view. I say to him " That isn't a crossfire, that is a Mercedes SLR McLaren!" I love it, I am cruisin around in my 34 year old rusty datsun, but I still can drop the jaw of a guy in a half million dollar car. I love my Z. OlderThanMe
haha...yep that is what if fun about Zs. I have done that to every asian prelude owner in my county I think...and 240sx owners...Zs are sort of plentiful here as I have counted around 10 modified first gen Zs within 10 miles of where I live and a few of beaters. 280zwitha383
Wow, there is ONE first generation Z here and a kid drives it around. I always give him a hard time asking him when he's going to do an engine swap. I think his daddy is buying him another car now though. zero
yea ive seen one or two other s30's on the road in the past 5 years so they're a bit rare in my end of jersey.
cygnusx1
Yeah they are getting VERY rare up here in the Northeast. I don't think I've seen a "free roaming" S30 in about two or three years. I've seen a couple of them at shows but that's it! Mine definitely turns heads and it's usually people with big money cars who are long time enthusiasts that have "made it" and miss their Z.
