RIP260Z
Hi, I brought a second hand LD28 crank from the States a few yrs ago, and it did not come with a front pulley bolt. When the engine parts were at the machine shop they informed me that a L28 front pulley bolt I supplied would not fit, due to the thread being wrong. I have looked again, and the thread on the crank looks fine (e.g. not cross threaded) , but the thread looks a bit rounded off. (Nothing wrong with the L28 bolt). I just wanted to check that the thread is 1.5 pitch, and the crank should accept a L28 pulley bolt, before I have the thread on the crank chased out. Cheers Ian
510six
I just pulled a crank dampner of my LD28 cranked L30 stroker and it was a stock L28 dampner bolt, but I had to chase the threads after using a puller to get the dampner off.
RB26powered74zcar
I used a regular L28 crank bolt on my last LD28 crank.
