Guest MAG
Hi I think this isn't a big deal but I just want to make sure and it would be nice to fix. When I turn my turning signals on the fuel pump in the back of my 280z seems to sound diffrent (almost like an oscillating sound from a voltage change). So I'm wondering is this a big deal? Won't this affect the way the fuel is pumped into the motor? Also if this is a concern how should I go about fixing this problem. Thanks. -MAG
Twizted
Direct wiring via a relay will fix voltage problems to your fuel pump. But have you actually tested the fuel pressure both off and under a load? Noises do give you an alert but I had my factory pump running louder than my radio with no problems with fuel supply. I don't know how or why but it was. I finally changed it for a new factory pump due to be sick of hearing it but still no change in fuel supply. And that's still using factory wiring to the pump. Pop N Wood
Clean your battery posts. Sounds so simple, my guess is you will go for the more complicated fix instead. But trust me. Clean your battery posts.
