well the maxima brackets are a 4.5" bolt circle..

the little calipers comein 3.25" or 3.75

i think the old 81 calipers use a 3.75 pattern.

whats the ones you got mikelly..

i have both offsets of maxima "bolt on" brackets here

one of the unobtanium one and one of the 81 style.

the 81 is a smaller caliper bolt pattern i will measure that to see if its the same as a ZX one At 3.75".

wouldnt that be nice if the "wrong" maxima bracket bolted on to the zcar with the outlaw caliper..

dont hold your breath though!

Ah - I got ya' now! Heh, IF that worked it would be AWESOME! The Outlaw calipers through you cost less than the SX calipers from the parts store. You'd still want Willwood spots but it would still be a step in the right direction at least. My fingers are crossed!

Randy got any pics of your rear setup??

now if we could get the rear DP bracket and add a ear to it for the spot we'd be laughin"

youdid use a 82-83 type ZX rotor correct?

rear uses 84 300zx rotor -it is not as offset so much around bearing.i got rid of the park brake completely.the brackit bolts on to 3 of the oem backing plate holes.when i installed it i took the bolts out of the backing plate and cut it off with a torch so i didnt have to mess with the wheel bearings.i had the right adaptors for brake lines and i installed at work(i am a tech at a ford dealer).took about an hour for both sides.had to install a bais adjuster put i mounted it on side of trans tunnel by gear shift.the only problem is it squeeks loudly.cost was about $375.no hoses or an fittings though.i have a friend that has a 240z race car that has all dp racing parts on it and rear brakes sqeek too.i REALLY need to upgrade front brakes.just have toyota calipers on stock rotors with porterfield pads on track days.it stops hard but front gets hot.i need an outlaw or willwood set up with coleman 12x1.25 rotors.

i guess that would work too then...... since a 84 is 4 lug theres the 4 lug version and a 85 5 lug turbo rotor is same offset and all i believe so both bases are covered..
