Shift
I just got another 260Z free. The front of it is totaled. I got it as a project car. I already have a spare L28 that I'm planing to throw in there. I was thinking about the whole front of the frame out of piping. I've searched and didn't really find what I was looking for. Some issues I'm looking have questions on: 1. TC rods and strut mounting points placements 2. body panel mounting 3. Some other issues That I might come across. dr_hunt
there is a thread http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=109864 In that thread is a complete schematic of the entire frame and dimensions, I'm not sure if it's a 260 or a 240 and I'm not sure of the differences between the two, but it may be what you need. Shift
Not what I'm looking for. Though it might help later. What I'm looking for basically is fabbing the front half out of tubing I know I've seen somewhere on here of someone that has done what I'm planning on doing.I already have basically the whole front suspension off a 280z. Might have to look for a new steering column though. Edit: this is what I've looking for

Pop N Wood
The owner of that tube frame car posts here all the time. I forget what his name is, but he is understandably proud of his car. I would contact him directly since I am sure he will be most helpful. IIRC he did a tube front for the same reason you want to.
speeder
Dan McGrath, 74_5.0L_Z. That tube front is simply beautiful.
